Easter and the forthcoming Coronation

Spring-time this year looks as though it will be busier than ever. Not long now until the Coronation of King Charles III so more bank holidays than usual - and where better to take a break from the busy grindstone than here at Mowbarton? 'Miles from nowhere but close to everywhere,' as has been said on more than one occasion!

We have had a steady stream of guests at the Barn and also the Shepherd's Hut. I can't claim that the weather has always been kind - but we have had some brilliant days and several of our guests have taken advantage of the sunloungers with their wonderful views. And the picnic spot in Teasel Meadow where the sunsets appear the finest, Talking of  'fine,' one of our guests discovered Cheddar Cheese ice cream in ... you've guessed it: Cheddar! I must admit I haven't been brave enough to try it yet - but I am sure I will.

I wonder if the new King has a fondness for Cheddar Cheese ice cream? Perhaps it will become the new salted caramel... Talking of the new King, now is certainly the time to toast His Royal Highness with a glass or two of authentic English Sparkling Wine. Orders for the Coronation began a few weeks ago - but there's still time to place an order for yourself. And what's more you can do it right now if you like!
