Mowbarton Estate offers two superb Somerset wines, both made entirely from grapes grown in our vineyard with its spectacular views of Glastonbury Tor.
And we are now offering a 20% discount on our fantastic new still white wine. Mowbarton Estate Cuvee Pinot is made predominantly from Pinot Blanc grapes, harvested after the record-breaking summer of 2022, when temperatures in our vineyard reached 33 Centigrade. 

All that sunshine has resulted in a wine with remarkable body, as well as a hint of the aromatic top notes which have made our sparkling wine so popular. Featuring a distinctive gold label in memory of that blazing summer, it is presented in a convenient screwcap bottle, perfect for keeping ready in the fridge – and excellent value for money.

Mowbarton Estate Somerset Brut sparkling wine is perfect for any celebration - from a fabulous country wedding to an intimate dinner for two. Created from three of the seven grape varieties permitted to produce champagne - Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Meunier - Mowbarton Estate Somerset Sparkling is made by the traditional methode champenoise, and proof that the finest English wine can be as good as anything from across the Channel.  

This is how Master of Wine Neil Tully describes Mowbarton Estate sparkling: ‘With a pale gold colour and fine sustained mousse, this wine achieves an attractive balance of soft, cooked apple / tarte tatin flavours with a fresh, slightly grassy character.'
