After many weeks in lockdown, Mowbarton swung back into action in July when guests began to return to the Barn and Shepherd's Hut. The continuing threat of covid meant certain changes had to be introduced re changeover times and cleaning regimes, but everyone was very understanding and we have been busier than ever - or it certainly feels like it! Mowbarton really does provide a welcome break from the somewhat threatening atmosphere that seems to prevail beyond our walls. Throughout the long days of lockdown the grapes in the vineyard continued to grow, undeterred by the pandemic. It meant we were able to work from home without the aid of zoom or facetime and when at last members of the family were allowed to visit again, we set them to work as well.
